Established in Hawke's Bay in 2007, the activity started as Moving Targets in Martinborough, south Wairarapa, in 1997, and simply allows people to ‘have a go’ at clay target shooting.
We can cater from one to a crowd, and is an all weather activity.
It is enjoyable as a group activity, although only one person per instructor shoots at a time, as the results are visible to everyone – the clay target either breaks or it doesn’t!! The scores are kept and as the activity progresses, the competition heats up and if two or more shooters end as a tie, a shoot-off is included to establish a winner.
No previous experience is necessary. Full tuition is given with licensed operators, and all equipment is provided, including hearing protection.

We are happy for participants to enjoy a glass of wine while the activity is in progress however we reserve the right to refuse the activity to anyone who may be ‘past their best’.
